Last night was craaaazy and amazing. I went to a party with my amazing friend Eli. And met all of these cool people. And I came back and ate a whole big thing of ice cream. But I really needed it. For real.
Anyway. This one girl I met there was amazing. And Ayana invited her to watch The L Word on Sunday. (we go every week) So I was like "yessssss, you have to come." And she wants me to come play kickball on sunday. But I was like "Nope, I have an exam on Monday." And Eli invited me to come watch a Tennis match. But really, I have to study. Which is obnoxious but true. Im still going to TLW though. :) That's important.

I have all of this sugar in me now from the ice cream, so I'm typing a million miles a second lol. Crazy crazy. I've been partying too much. But at least I don't drink. If I did, I'm sure it would be worse.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll feel much better after a shower. Byeeee.

    Sooo.

Madi gras was amazing as expected. The day after was amazing too.

But now I'm in one of those weird in between phases. Where nothing particularly exciting is going on, but nothing horrible is happening either. Life is just kind of there...

    Langerado vs Megacon
Okay so there are two events that are occuring on the first weekend of Spring Break. I've been planning to go to each of them for a long time, with no idea that they were at the same time until maybe last weekend. So now, I'm faced with the decision of which to attend. Here is a summary of what they are and why I would go to each, in case you don't know.

    Langerado-
A four-day music festival. It begins the Thursday that I still have class, and goes to Sunday. There are maybe a bazillion bands going, including Minus The Bear, REM, The Beastie Boys, and Ani Difranco. A bunch of my friends from Spain are planing on going and I could catch a ride with them. The drawback is that I'd have to sleep in a tent there at the festival. But Ani Difranco is playing Sunday so I know my friend Aubrey is going only for Sunday to see her. Which means, if I had some sort of transportation, I could potentially go for just that Sunday.

    Megacon-
A three day Sci-Fi and anime convention. My friend Kayla is coming down from New York to attend. The two of us were planning on cosplaying Paradise Kiss. My sister would give me a ride to Orlando. There's probably some J-rock band playing. Def a good place to meet people..... And I had already comitted to the cosplay.

So any ideas, solutions, conclusions, complaints...? Name-calling? Insight of any kind...?

Being back in the US is really strange. My first day back when I came out of the airplane and saw Americans everywhere it felt soooo weird. Because Americans have such a distinct way about them. But that night, when I went to sleep, I really felt that I had an understanding of my place in the world. It felt really good. I don't want to lose that feeling.

So, I'm going to London next weekend. I'm really excited about it since I've never been before. I'll be there from this Thursday to Sunday. It always weirds me out to leave spain and to be able to speak to people in English. And best of all, I get to see my amazing friend Emily. :D

I went to a vegan festival tonight. It was really cool, but I left in the middle of the first speaker because I didn't understand that much of what he was saying. I bought two shirts defending animals in Spanish lol. But the food was amazing and I met some people from the US. So it was a good night. Plus, my friend Kathi was the only non-vegeterian that went and after going, she said she might go vegeterian. I'm thinking of going vegan once I get back to the states. I've never been vegan before... in fact, I didn't really believe in the idea behind veganism until the other night. I was at a local vegeterian restaurant here in Valencia and we were talking about our reasons for going veg. Joelle said she went veg after seeing the video Meet Your Meat. I'd never seen it before. In fact, I hadn't looked into information about being veg at all. So I watched the video and nowwwww I understand veganism completely. And plus, it's relly healthy. Soooooo we'll see what comes of it. It's way too hard to go vegan here in Spain where I can barely find vegeterian food. And even when I ask servers in restaurants they'll say something doesn't have meat and it'll come out with bits of ham or with tuna.

I'm talking to Amelia online and she said she's going vegan too when she gets back to the states. She's studying in Italy if you were wondering lol.

    Confused.
There are so many things I want to become. I feel like I have the potential to do anything, but I need to hurry up and decide what it is that I want to do because this is the time. Soon, it will be too late.

I'm a little bit stressed out about sheduling my classes for next semester. Because that's the point where I'm comitting to my major. So far, I've only taken one class that is major-specific. But next semester, I'll be taking two. My registration opens at 8 on Wed, so I'll probably report on that soon. But my parents are coming to visit this weekend, which I'm realllllllly excited. I get to show them around Valencia and attempt to convince my Dad to eat something out of the ordinary.

I feel kind of good though in that I've finally found a good group of girls who are smart and funny and great friends! We're all also pretty independent so it's not like "What you're going there? Why didn't you invite me?" Because I'm not a big fan of that.

Kathi decided to stop talking to me. Which I'm not really upset about. I realized that I like things better that way. I'm upset though that she dragged Jason into it. Jason would never take sides in anything, she should know that. And she should know that I'm not competetive and that I'm not going to apolojize, and I'm not going to fight. She doesn't though. Either way, that's a friendship that I'm better off without.

Anyway, we already booked our flight to and from London with us sitting next to eachother. So I'm going to look into changing that. Because that's two long periods of time that I could do with not being around her for. I'm excited about London though!!! So I can see Emily and see London since I've never been there. :D

Oh yeah, I made myself a guy on facebook. Because I was tired of being a girl and needed a change. lol

I'm posting this mostly for the benefit of Kitty and James.

So, last night, I was hanging out in Eli's dorm and she was looking for a picture to put up as the background of her computer. So I see a picture of Aubrey H on her computer. "How do you know her?" I asked... and she gave me one of those looks. "How do YOU know her?" she asked me back. So I explained to her that I knew Aubrey in Middle School and she said she went to High School with her. And evidently, she asked Aubrey out lol. So basically I knew Kat, met James, and met Eli, who all knew Aubrey, but not eachother. Which blows my mind. I asked her if she knows James since she went to Lake Highland and she said no. But... this stufrf is crazy.

Going to Dublin, Ireland this weekend. Spending the week in Madrid.

Fall break I'll hit all the major cities in Italy. I've planned a trip to London as well. Which will be great cause I'll get to see Emilyyy! (hopefully) and because I want to see London.

I love going to places where people speak English. That's always fun. :)

Jacon was amazing. I cosplayed Kouya from Loveless on Friday and dressed in Kuro Lolita (all black) on Saturday.

Hrm I don't really miss Tally at all. But Andrew called me the other day to ask me for some good anime suggestions(we watch anime and movies together all the time at school, so now he has to watch stuff on his own) and he was like "Oh, by the way, I tried to watch Naruto (he usually mispronounces it "Naturo", but he got it right that time lol) and after a few episodes, I decided it was really boring and it sucks." It made me laugh. :)

    Good news and bad news.

Good news: my band is up on myspace!
    www.myspace.com/ShadowMasque

Bad news: no music up yet. We're still in the writing process, but stick around because there certainly will be in the (hopefully) near future.

Emily and I wrote a song. I like it a lot. I might post it after we copyright it.

I'm thinking about buying my first clasic lolita outfit, along with a less poofy white petticoat. If anyone is pettiless and wants the one I have now, let me know. It's not particularly nicely shaped, but it's poofy.

I have about an hour to get ready and go to the bookstore. X.X

I can't wait for spring break. I want to go hoooome. Not that I'm not happy here, but I need a break from schoolwork. Which I probably won't really get since I have a bunch of stuff due as soon as I get back. But I'm going to two shows over the break: the first is Retard-o-Bot and the second is The Cruxshadows which I have to come back up to Tallahassee for. But I don't mind since they're one of my favorite bands and rarely tour in the US.

I really want to go to Convergence 13. It's a goth convention in Oregon (who knew such things existed? I didn't). The theme this year is A Dark Victorian Dream. They're having all kinds of cool events like a Masquerade Ball and Mad Hatter's Tea Party. It's SO much money though. I'd have to fly over there, pay for a hotel, pay for standard enterance, pay more for particular events such as those I just mentioned. I'm not sure that it will be worth it. But if anyone else is interested in going, let me know and if everything works out, we can share a hotel room.

So I went to the Kill Hannah show and stood up in front the whole show. The lead singer Matt had his crotch in my face the whole show. Then he pulled me up on stage to dance with him during the song Crazy Angel. I met him in the end and gave him a hug while thanking him for letting me dance on stage. I didn't have my camera, but he took a picture of me, Emily, and Amelia. It was soooo amazing, I feel so lucky.

Andrew put FLCL on my computer so I'm watching it now. I'm not sure that I like it.
